Bio

Isa has a Bachelor's in Biochemistry from University of Coimbra and a Master's degree in Biomedical Research from the University of Lisbon. During her Masters she studied the metabolic profile of differentiated neural stem cells. And has since worked in various labs, from studying zebrafish's social decision making network into differentiating iPSCs into cardiac fibroblasts. When not in the lab, Isa loves to dance and promote science communication.
